Google Alerts. Mention in the news

How it works

First the words, then the sources, then the feed.

  1. 1

    Set the words

Exact phrases, keywords, or a regular expression. The service uses them to decide which text is a mention.

  2. 2

    Connect sources

A place you are allowed to read: a channel, a group, a feed, a board, a Google Alert, or another type from the list.

  3. 3

    Read the feed

Matches show up in the cabinet. If the priority is high, you can receive a Telegram message.

Sources you can connect

After you sign in, each source has instructions for how to add it.

  • Google Alerts

Your own Google Alert, delivered as RSS. Google searches open news and sites.

  • Talkwalker Alerts

Your own Talkwalker Alert, delivered as RSS. News, blogs, and forums come from that alert.

  • RSS or forum feed

An open RSS feed, or a forum that publishes one.

  • Hacker News

Hacker News, searched with the phrases from your rules.

  • Stack Overflow

Stack Overflow, searched with the phrases from your rules.

  • Bluesky

Public Bluesky posts, searched with the phrases from your rules.

  • Reddit

Reddit posts, searched with the phrases from your rules. Needs your own Reddit app.

  • YouTube

New YouTube videos, searched with the phrases from your rules. Needs your own key.

  • Telegram channel

A public channel, read by your Telegram account. The service does not join it.

  • Telegram group

A group you added your bot to.

  • Freelancehunt

New Freelancehunt projects. Your rules decide which ones become mentions.
